Transformational Discipleship Pathway

Over four meetings and two working group sessions, we will dig into big questions, talk with our neighbors, and plan a path forward.
All members and interested community members are invited to a series of conversations to clarify our long-term goals for our congregation and facilities. Please join us with an open heart and sense of humor!

“Transformational Discipleship” outlines agendas to shape your congregation’s discernment process for establishing a long term strategy for congregational viability. It follows general patterns and principles of ministry renewal and re-planting. This process in intended to congregation-centric while guided by a pastor or outside facilitator across four to six weeks of conversation and work.

Big Questions
This process asks congregations to step into some big questions:

  • Who are we now?
  • What do we love about this church?
  • Who do we want to become?
  • What facility use aligns with who we are and who we want to become?
  • What ministry aligns with who we are and who we want to become?
  • What resources and scaffolding can we put in place now to sustain this community into the future?
